ITToolBox Welcomes Me

I don’t really get recognized for much, but when I do it’s my acomplishments that keep me going. I don’t feel like I need to be recognized for the work I love to contribute to, but when I do, I am overwhelmed. Another day, another acomplishment, just doing what I enjoy.

ITtoolbox is an online community of professionals who share practical information on IT topics. This community enables anyone to access the collective knowledge of a worldwide audience of experienced professionals. In doing so, ITtoolbox satisfies the need for practical and timely information for an infinite number of possible challenges in the complex and rapidly changing field of information technology1.

Overwhelmed, I have been accepted, actually contacted to become part of the IT Bloggers over at ITToolbox. This is an awesome milestone in my life, because I always knew that I had it in myself to write great things about what I love to do, but didn’t think anyone would recognize me for that. They have, and I am truly honored for that.

If you ever have time to visit ITToolbox, please do, but not for my sake. There are some highly qualified individuals out there that write some awesome articles of the real-life I.T. world. So, if you need something to read to pass some time, or if you are just bored, go ahead, dive into some of the blogs over at ITToolbox.

Again, I am honored, and would just like to thank the individuals at ITToolbox for this great opportunity.

You can read my first entry now.

This has to do with memory on your Windows XP system. Have you tried Hibernating or putting your system into standby after upgrading your RAM? If you have, keep on reading. More...

Curing 'Symbolic link not allowed' (Apache 2.0)
Awhile back when trying to add a directory to Apache on my Ubuntu 6.06 LTS server, I ran into some issues. These issues, of course were the infamous 403 “Forbidden” error that your web barfs up when you try to access a server that is not publicly viewable, because of permission issues. I’m going to give you my scenario and explain how you can fix this issue, so that you don’t have to go through an hour of throwing your hands up in disgust. More...

VMWare: "Failed to create named-pipe directory" error
Have you ever received the Failed to create named-pipe directory error message via the vmware-mui error log files, and not able to access the VMWare Management Interface? If so, here’s the fix. More...

/bin/rm: Argument list too long
Removing gigs and gigs, or just alot, of unwanted “opened” email that often clutters the system. More...
